Where: Ministry of Social Affairs, Stubenring 1, 1010 ViennaThe main topics are the two UN human rights reports:
- "Impact of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons"
- "The human rights of older women: the intersection between ageing and gender"
Afterwards, participants have the opportunity to network with Dr. Mahler in an informal setting and discuss open questions.

About Dr. MAhler
Since May 1, 2020, Austrian national Claudia Mahler has held the mandate as "Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons." Ms. Mahler has been a senior researcher at the German Institute for Human Rights (DIMR) in the field of economic, social, and cultural rights since 2010. Prior to her work at the DIMR, Ms. Mahler conducted research at the Human Rights Centre of the University of Potsdam and worked as a consultant for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
