General Information

The International-Conference on the Human Rights of older Persons, organized by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection, will take place in Vienna from 12-13 November 2018. There will be translation for German / English / Spanish.

Venue

The Conference will take place at the Ringturm (Schottenring 30, 1010 Vienna).

Registration

Delegations are requested to register online at: www.ageing.at between 15th September and 29th October 2018.

Accreditation

Upon arrival, panellists, moderator, keynote speakers will receive their accreditation badges from liaison officers. Other participants can obtain their accreditation badges on-site from the registration desk on 12th November from 9 to 10 a.m., 20th floor at the Ringturm.

Accommodation

The Federal Ministry has made a pre-reservation at the Hotel Regina (Rooseveltplatz 15, 1090 Vienna). You are kindly asked to book and pay for your accommodation and to confirm your stay in the accreditation system (booking and hotel costs for panelists, moderators, and keynote speakers are covered by the Federal Ministry). A certain number of rooms with a preferential rate of EUR 120,- (per night/single room) or 150,- EUR (per night/double room) has been pre-reserved for this event. Kindly note that reservations made via this link are binding and a credit card guarantee is required. Payment needs to be done at the hotel upon check-out. Participants can also book extra nights with a preferential rate upon availability at the hotels mentioned above. The accommodation price includes breakfast as well as VAT and city tax. Please note that any individual expenses, such as telephone, minibar, laundry etc., are not included in the room rate and will not be covered by the Austrian Presidency. Therefore, you are kindly asked to cover such expenses before your departure.
